We have started the process of getting the sails and rigging organised. First step was to get the mast out from under wraps and have a good look at it.
Does it look any different from up here?

Actually I’ve decided to replace all the rigging wires. Only the forestay looked really bad, but when I thought about it I realised that if I did not replace it all now I would worry about it, and end up having to do it within 6-12 months anyway.
As it turned out it was not expensive, so definitely a good decision.
