At last after much blood sweat and tears the inside is painted. This is a major step forward. It means construction is finished and we are moving into fitting out.
Preparing for painting was painful – endless sanding, bogging and filling. I could not have done it without Kevin’s help. He works for the boatyard and is an absolute wizard when it comes to painting.
As he says, its all in the preparation. After Kevin has finished preparing a surface it feels like silk. I still cant work out how he manages it. He is very strong in the shoulders which definitely helps, but there is also years of experience behind him.
