After all that work we planned to be on our way after a few days.

I should have known better.

After a short run around the lake the propellor shaft fell off, the engine spewed oil, diesel and water  everywhere.

The motor and drive chain was one of the major things I got the boat yard to do.  BIG mistake, if you want a job done properly, then do it yourself.

Here we are with the motor in bits after 30 minutes of running.

Fixing the motor has taken up most of the last 3 months – waiting for parts, getting time to work on it in between everything else.
