We must be getting somewhere, we now have steps down into the boat instead of a broken aluminium ladder. They dont look half bad either.
Steps in place
The fuel tank sits right behind the steps under the cockpit. It is also bolted into place now.

The step are easily removed for access to the front of the tank and the bilge underneath
