Boat work and posts have become a bit sporadic lately.  Life gets in the way of living some times.

The boat yard is still doing their bit every now and then.  They have a fantastic painter there who has done a really good job in cleaning up and repairing the hull below the water line.

Here it is beautifully painted with the first layer of hi-build (Penguard).  This is an epoxy sanding coat that goes on directly over the patched and repaired hull.  It will be lightly sanded then a coat of Viniguard will be applied on top.

Viniguard is a single pack waterproof coating designed to create good adhesion between anti – foul paints and the underlying surface.

We wont apply the anit foul until we are ready for the water.
