We have set the deadline to get the boat out of here. The boatyard is at the back of a lake that has a shallow barred entrance.

For us to be able to get out we need a good tide. There are 2 opening early next year, one in February and one in March.

They both occur at the time of the dark moon, peaking on the 19th February and 20th March.

The February opening is the best one for us. It will give us one month down the coast at Eden to finish preparing the boat before heading up north to over winter in the Whitsunday Islands and the barrier reef.

To make that deadline I need to change my focus. I came here to live in the boatyard so as to be able to finish the boat.

Over the past months, however, I have become draw back into my programming work, and the boat has not progressed as quickly as it should.

I am going to re focus now. The boat is top of the list, with only the essential paid work being done.
