Next on the list is to finish off in the toilet with access hatch and a window. The position of these is marked out on the aft wall.

More exciting is the fanny bar around the mast. The purpose of this is to give someone at the mast something to brace against when both hands are needed. The bar gets its name from the part of the body usually in contact with it.

Finally and even more exciting is the dodger. We are having a hard permanent dodger to protect the cockpit and companion way. I never saw the sense of canvas one which are a permanent part of the boat an in constant need or repair.
