We’re still going

Its been awhile since the last post but things are still happening.  In fact things are moving along nicely.  We should be on target to get the construction finished by the end of this year.

The main bulkhead is completed and the door hung.  Actually we are going to swing the door the other way, but that’s just a detail…

The bunk bases in the forward cabin are started.  The water tanks form the aft end of the bunks and there is lots of storage underneath.

In the bow section storage lockers are constructed and ready for a clean up sanding then painting.

Finally, the sullage tank is underway.  This is only about 130 litres.  It would have been nice if it had been bigger, but we needed to fit it in the lowest part of the boat so that shower and sink would gravity feed into it.  The Compass 47 does not have a very deep bilge.
