We take floppy for a walk nearly every day now. Its great exercise for the dog, and for Jacob as well.
We have a track around the lake and another that loops through the bush behind the boat yard. Both are good.
Floppy is mad about lizards. If he sees one he rushes to try and pounce and kill it. Jacob and I dont want this so we keep him on a tight lead. He got one once, but not again.
I still prefer kangaroos and native animals to a dog, but you cant cuddle a wild kangaroo the way you can a dog.
I am still making slow progress on the boat. Its much easier living here, just outside the door and down the hill and I am there.
While the weather is good I am concentrating on the deck. Its covered in boxes now, three dorade ventilation boxes and one to hold the propane bottles.
I have also fixed a number of transverse beams on the deck top so that I can secure the dingy here.
A count of paint tidies it all up and protects the new work.
